How It Works

How a lead moves through Lead Capsule: captured or posted in, verified, routed by ping tree or ping/post, delivered to the buyer, then invoiced and reported.

One platform, five stages

Lead Capsule handles a lead from the moment it is created to the moment someone pays for it. The path is the same whether you generate leads, buy them, or broker them, and every stage below is configured rather than developed. Here is the trip a single lead takes.

Stage 1: Captured

A lead enters through whichever channel produced it, and all of them feed the same pipeline.

  • Web forms - host a form at a custom link or embed it in your page, with multi-step layouts, conditional logic, and filtering that rejects submissions outside your criteria.
  • Host & Post - connect landing pages and vendor systems that already exist. Lead Capsule generates the posting specification with one click, so no custom development is needed on your side.
  • Co-registration - capture interest in a second vertical on the same form, so one consumer can produce more than one sellable lead.
  • Bulk import - bring in aged inventory and vendor files by CSV or scheduled FTP pull, with duplicate checking, suppression, and reusable field mapping applied on the way in.
  • Calls - track inbound and outbound calls on local or toll-free numbers, capture caller ID to fill in name, city, state, and zip, and store the recording with the lead.

Stage 2: Verified

Before a lead is worth anything to a buyer, Lead Capsule checks whether the data is real. Lead Verification validates phone, email, name, address, and IP in real time through third-party providers including Xverify, with address checks run against USPS-standard data.

It runs on intake, so failed leads are rejected before you pay for them; again before resale, so a stale record does not slip through; and inside ping campaigns, so buyers only bid on data that will hold up. Set a minimum score rather than a pass-or-fail rule.

Stage 3: Routed

Advanced filtering narrows the field to buyers whose criteria the lead matches, on state, age, income, or any other field you collect. From there the model depends on how you sell:

  • Ping/Post - pings your buyer network with a partial record, collects bids, and posts the full lead only to the winner.
  • Ping tree - offers the lead to your top price tier first, cascading to the next tier only when every buyer in the current one passes.
  • PingPickPost - lets the consumer pick which buyer may contact them, and posts the lead to that buyer alone.

Exclusivity settles how many buyers can end up with the same record, from fully exclusive through non-exclusive, and how many days it stays exclusive before resale. Scheduling holds delivery to the hours a buyer is staffed, and caps limit volume per hour, day, week, or month.

Stage 4: Delivered

Delivery is a setting, not an integration project. Real-time methods put the lead into the buyer's system the moment it is won: HTTP Post, or XML, SOAP, or JSON post for a buyer with an endpoint, email for a buyer without one. Scheduled methods send leads as a CSV by bulk email or FTP. A lead can also go to a dialer, to your own CRM Portal to be worked before resale, or be downloaded from the buyer's Client Portal. The same caps, exclusivity, filtering, and verification apply whichever method carries it - see Lead Distribution.

Stage 5: Billed and reported

Once the lead is sold, the money follows it. Invoicing generates client invoices manually or on a daily, weekly, monthly, or annual schedule, using templates that group items the way you bill, each with an optional Pay Now link. Payments records what comes in, along with any void, refund, or credit, and Billing does the same for what you owe vendors and publishers.

Advanced Reporting puts that lead back in context: leads purchased and sold, investment, revenue and profit by vertical, vendor, and client, verification pass and fail counts, and campaign fulfillment against caps. Every report runs in real time and can be scheduled by email.
